Semester I

Module Description 
This module equips trainees with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to prepare, interpret and apply machine assembly drawings used in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. The module covers fasteners, joints, assembly procedures, exploded assemblies, sectional assemblies, machine component drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Emphasis is placed on preparing engineering drawings that conform to international standards and support manufacturing, maintenance, and assembly operations in mechanical and manufacturing industries.
